Prof. Kavitha Ranganathan teaches Portfolio Management. Her research interests are in judgment and decision-making, behavioural corporate finance with focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.
Her research article, Satisficing measures of risk, won the best doctoral research paper award at the Academy of Behavioural Economics and Finance conference held at New York University, 2012.

Prof. Pradeepta Sethi teaches Commercial Banking course. He is a Ph.D in Financial Management from National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad. Prior to his FPM, he has worked in the State Bank of India as Credit Analyst for nearly 4 years. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of Financial Development, Banking Sector and Corporate Finance.

Prof. S. Sudeep Kumar teaches “Risk Management & Insurance of Personal Risks” and “Insurance Operations & Corporate Risk Management”. He had long tenure spanning 21 years with the third largest General Insurer in the country, viz National Insurance Company Ltd. He has served the organization in the capacity of Underwriting/Claims Officer, Branch Manager and Divisional Manager before his desire to become an academician prompted him to leave the corporate sector. He first joined Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida in June 2007, prior to joining TAPMI.

Prof. Vinod Madhavan would be handling “Marketing of Financial Services”. He is from the domain of sales and marketing. He has over 17 years of experience in the industry and academics. A trainer with over three thousand hours of stand up training experience, he has trained managers in the senior middle and senior levels up to vice presidents in companies such as Kirloskar Group, Atlas Copco, West Coast paper Mills, Brakes India Ltd, Mysore, Raman Boards Ltd (now a part of ABB), Automotive Axles Ltd, Mysore, Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Plant Ltd, Bellary and Kasturba Medical Hospital, Manipal. He has developed and delivered corporate training modules in the area of sales management (personal selling), channel management, soft skills, personality development, communication, team management, stress management and work ethics.

He was a Visiting Scholar at the College of Business Innovation, University of Toledo, Toledo (OH). He was the best outgoing student of the School of Management, Manipal University.

He is also a Certified Forensic Accounting Professional. In TAPMI, he has been associated with various administrative roles such as Placement, Summer Internship (MIP) and Alumni relations.
Prof. Rajiv Shah has16 years of working experience in private as well as government sectors. He was an international financial researcher for 2 years at CIFAR Emerging Capital Markets Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad and thereafter joined the Income Tax Department. Out of the 14 years in the department, he was a faculty member in the Staff Training Unit/Regional Training Institute for about 7 years in the areas of Assessment, Interpretation of Accounting Statements, specific areas of Direct Tax Laws, etc. He is actively involved in the field of Executive Education in the areas of Accounting, Taxation and Strategic Finance.
