Prof. A. S. Vasudev Rao
Prof. A S Vasudev Rao is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from KREC, Surathkal(presently NITK) and a Post Graduate in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He obtained his PhD in Management from Karnataka University. He has over 46 years of experience in industry, consulting and academics.
Prior to joining TAPMI, he had worked in Tata Steel in Design & Projects, TECSOK, Bengaluru, as Deputy Chief Advisor and at KREC-STEP, a Science & Technology Entrepreneur’s Park, as Director. He has extended training and consultancy for feasibility studies, Business Plans, implementation to a number of Small & Medium Enterprises.
His academics interest are in Entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, Project management, Small Business Management and Family Business studies. He teaches courses on Entrepreneurial Strategy & New Venture Creation, Project Management, and Small Business Management. He was previously involved in the New Campus project planning and execution, as former Dean-Administration.
Prof. Vinit Thakur
Prof. Vinit has completed his Master of Science in 1985 from University of Mumbai with a first class and a course in Business Administration from Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Germany. He teaches ERP and has wide ranging consultancy experience with leading corporate such as 3M India Ltd., SAP India Ltd., GE and so on. He was the Global Head of Learning and Consultancy Development at US Technology Resources LLC.
He has designed training programs such as “Large Group Intervention” for Oracle SEG Group, “Open Space Technology Workshop” for 3M Automotive Division, etc. among many others. He is also a certified psychometric analyst.
Prof. Madhavi Latha Nandi
Prof. Madhavi Latha Nandi holds a doctorate degree in Information Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam. She has a work experience of over 10 years both in the industry and academics. She was the co-founder and executive director of Annova Technologies Pvt. Ltd. While working at Annova, she has contributed to designing and implementing several location-based technology projects
On the academic front, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Operations & IT area at TAPMI for three years. Her teaching interests include IT for Business, ERP systems, Business Process Management & Mobile Commerce. She has a keen interest on transdisciplinary research and her current research interests include Technology Innovation Management, Technology Mediated Interactions, Enterprise Systems, Technology oriented Business Models. She has presented several papers in reputed international conferences and published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of Association of Information Systems (AIS) and serves as reviewer to IS conferences and journals.
Prof. Krishnamurthy worked in senior positions in large global corporations with Responsibilities for the functions he headed , across a large number of countries and businesses. His experience covered Leadership positions in Strategy, Business Planning, Information Technology and Large Scale Transformation Programs. He was part of Global Leadership Teams for Strategy and for IT for many years , and, in these roles helped shape Strategy , Policies and Programs for the Business Unit of about $ 10 billion in Sales globally.
He has worked across FMCG/CPG Companies , Pharmaceutical and Automotive Industries.
He was responsible for the Strategy & Business Transformation Programs in one of the Businesses of BP plc, for a Region comprising 8 major countries and 12 smaller countries, for 6 years.
As Head of Strategy, was responsible for effective organisation-wide integrated Business Strategy development for each of its markets and lines of businesses – and the functional strategies to support the business strategy of respective countries. And for Execution of Strategy through integrated plans across functions and countries.
His experience includes Leadership of Company-wide IT function for multi-billion dollar MNCs . As CIO, he helped the companies formulate IT Strategy and Programs that were distinctive, widely acclaimed and helped the organisation’s rapid growth.
Krishnamurthy is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (1977 and ) Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1975).
