Students opting for the research track will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced academic advisor. This mentorship will guide them through identifying a research topic, formulating research questions, and developing a sound methodology. Throughout this journey, students will conduct an in-depth study involving data collection, analysis, and synthesis, culminating in a 10,000-word dissertation. Additionally, students will have the chance to pursue publication in a top-tier, peer-reviewed journal, a noteworthy academic accomplishment that requires submitting a research paper to a respected journal for a rigorous review by field experts. Such achievements can pave the way for both academic and professional growth, helping students gain recognition as emerging experts in their field. Students will also receive support, including personalized guidance on the application process, securing funding or scholarships, and identifying suitable programs for admission to Ivy League Ph.D. programs.
Students interested in entrepreneurship will complete 40 credits in Year 4 and begin developing their ideas by engaging in TAPMI Bengaluru’s e-cell activities. At the end of Year 3, students will present their business ideas to a panel of industry professionals selected by MILES (Manipal Institute of Innovation, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship). This panel will assess the viability of each idea and certify its business potential. Students whose ideas are approved will then proceed with the entrepreneurship courses offered by MILES and continue refining their concepts during the Honors year. At the end of the Honors year, students will be offered an opportunity to present their work to MUTBI (MAHE Incubators) and join MUTBI if they approve the idea.
The study abroad track is available to outstanding BBA students after their third year. TAPMI Bengaluru will select a limited number of eligible students to pursue further studies with our partner university abroad. These students will be awarded a three-year BBA certificate along with a recommendation or nomination letter, enabling them to join programs at foreign universities upon fulfilling additional requirements, such as language proficiency tests and financial and travel preparations. Host universities will prioritize these recommendations, providing them with special consideration as part of our established MOUs.
Students pursuing the corporate career track will engage with a dynamic curriculum that combines in-depth knowledge of organizational management with practical skills valued by leading employers. Through guest lectures and events featuring industry leaders, students gain insights into diverse career paths and sectors. Core courses and electives will cover key management principles and leadership skills, with an emphasis on areas like human resource management, management consulting, marketing strategy, and digital information and technology management. Whether students aim to work in large private organizations or the public sector, they will build essential analytical, quantitative, digital, and presentation skills that are highly sought after in today’s business environment
