Chairman’s Message


T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal is a well-established (since 1984), autonomous, highly ranked and a leading private B-School in India. TAPMI’s PGDM program has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2016.

TAPMI welcomes you to visit the pages on Admissions for our Flagship program – Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) as well as PGDM-Healthcare Management (HCM) and PGDM in Banking & Financial Services (BKFS) and make your choice to apply for the 2017-19 batch.

All the three programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and are recognized as equivalent to MBA by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for pursuing Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) within India and across the globe. The Admissions Prospectus contains details of the curriculum and specializations that are offered, the placements and campus facilities.

Please note that an applicant for PGDM has the option of appearing for either CAT-2016 or XAT-2017 as the admission test. Those who are attempting GMAT also have the option of applying. TAPMI obtained necessary approvals of AICTE to admit a few NRI and PIO/Foreign National candidates as well. Eligibility criteria for these candidates are given separately in the Admissions Prospectus – 2017 and on our website. Similarly, scores obtained in MAT exam held by AIMA in September and December 2016 are also considered for the PGDM-Healthcare Management program besides the above three tests (CAT/XAT/GMAT).

TAPMI uses the online application and payment process for its Admissions. Copies of our Admissions Prospectus -2017 are available at our Admissions Office, TAPMI Manipal and can also be downloaded from our website.
