Vaishali Jadon is a faculty member in the area of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Bengaluru, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). She has submitted her doctoral thesis as part of the Fellow Program in Management (FPM) in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.
Her research interests centre on workplace loneliness, dignity and equality at work, and contemporary work settings, with a particular interest in understanding the experiences of employees in stigmatized, marginalized, and institutionally complex occupations and work contexts, including policing and dirty work. More broadly, her research seeks to understand how workplace structures, relationships, and social dynamics shape employees’ experiences of belonging, dignity, inclusion, and well-being. She engages with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in her research.
Her research has been published in Organization, Safety Science, Evidence-based HRM, and the International Journal of Organizational Theory & Behavior. She has presented her work at prominent national and international academic conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting, the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) Colloquium, the INDAM Conference, and the PAN-IIM World Management Conference.
She was selected for the prestigious Global Early-Career Accelerator for Representation (GEAR) Fellowship at the University of Bath, United Kingdom, as one of only two fellows in the cohort. As part of the fellowship, she spent two months at the University of Bath conducting research and engaging in scholarly collaboration to advance conversations on equality and dignity in organizations.
She also contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for scholarly journals and conferences, and received the Best Reviewer Award from the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management in 2024.
Her teaching interests include Organizational Behavior, Equality and Dignity at Work, Qualitative Research Methods, and courses addressing contemporary issues in work and organizations, including workplace stigma, inclusion, identity, and changing forms of work.
