Sweta Bhusan is a dedicated scholar and practitioner with over 15 years of experience in social science research, policy evaluation, and education. She has worked extensively in monitoring and evaluating development projects, leading impact assessments for prominent organizations such as DP World, Sun Pharma, Jakson, the Bernard Van Leer Foundation, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and Centre for Financial Inclusion.

She has held teaching and training roles at esteemed institutions such as Jawaharlal Nehru University, IIM Ranchi, and has conducted capacity-building workshops for various stakeholders. Her expertise lies in mixed research methodologies, monitoring and evaluation, and policy advocacy. She has also served as the National Project Manager for the OECD-funded Survey on Social Emotional Skills (SSES) Study, representing India.

Dr. Bhusan has a strong research background with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and reputed platforms like Diplomatic Courier, Ideas for India, and Geography and You. She has also presented her work at national and international conferences, contributing significantly to discussions on education, social policy, and urban development.

Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University, and a B.Sc. from the University of Calcutta. She possesses strong technical skills, including proficiency in statistical and GIS software such as SPSS, Stata, ArcGIS, and NVivo.
