Prof Mahadevan has a blend of corporate and academic experience. In his corporate career spanning 30 years, he handled Business Operations, Marketing, customer service responsibilities in the telecom and FMCG sectors. He played leadership role in companies such as Amul, Jagatjit, Reliance Infocomm, Tata Teleservices and Loop Mobile.

Mahadevan is a faculty in the marketing area at TAPMI and over the last 10 years has handled administrative roles such as Placement, Internship, Brand, International accreditation and Executive Education, at various points in time

Mahadevan has published cases on Channel Business Model, Sales Promotions and Business Strategy in peer-reviewed journals and articles on telecom and education in business magazines and newspapers such as Business World, The Global Analyst and the Times of India.

Mahadevan is trained in leadership assessment and has delivered advisory to 100+ students
