Soumyadeep Kundu is an academic specializing in operations management, multi-channel retailing, and the sharing economy. He holds a Ph.D. from IIM Kozhikode and a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from KIIT.
His research focuses on channel choice decisions for vertically differentiated products, examining retail, gray markets, and online food delivery platforms. His broader interests include multi-channel retailing, online platforms, gray markets, and EV adoption, with an emphasis on strategic decision-making in competitive markets.
Currently an Assistant Professor at T.A. Pai Management Institute, he has previously taught at BML Munjal University, Woxsen University, and St. Xavier’s University. He has also authored case studies on retail and platform strategies and contributed to industry discussions in Forbes India, The Hindu, and The Telegraph India.
