Dr. Sirsha Pattanayak has completed her Ph.D. in Operations Management and Quantitative Methods, from the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur. Her broader research interests include blockchain, circular economy, supply chain performance, and sustainable operations. She has published in several high-ranking international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Information Systems Frontiers and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Her ongoing projects explore blockchain’s role in employee experience, metaverse adoption, and digital transformation. In recognition of her contributions, she has received awards for outstanding publications and academic performance at IIM Raipur. She is also engaged in academic service as a reviewer for leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management. Dr. Pattanayak brings diverse professional experience, having worked as a Channel Sales Officer at Signify Innovations India (formerly Philips Lighting), where she was responsible for sales forecasting, inventory planning, and partner. She has also undertaken internships in FMCG, environmental regulation, and manufacturing, which deepened her applied understanding of supply chains, sustainability, and technology integration.
