Sana Tabassum is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Area at TAPMI Bengaluru. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, where her doctoral research examined the socio-economic impacts of migration in India. Her work delves into critical areas such as women’s health outcomes, household consumption patterns, and rural development, highlighting the nuanced effects of migration on these dimensions. She is deeply passionate about working towards gender equality and inclusive development, focusing on improving access for marginalized communities.
