Prof. Nayana is an Associate Professor in Analytics area at TAPMI. She brings a strong background in higher education, curriculum innovation, and interdisciplinary technical research spanning over 14+ years. She holds a Ph.D. in Computational Intelligence domain from VIT Vellore (2019) and a Master’s degree specializing in Signal Processing. Her foundational research expertise includes training as a research intern at the prestigious Raman Research Institute, complemented by advanced NPTEL Domain Specializations in both Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Prior to joining TAPMI, she served as an Associate Professor and Program Head for AI & Machine Learning at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.

Her core teaching and research domains span Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Signal Processing and other core engineering courses. Her research interests bridges technical models with real-world business and healthcare management challenges. Beyond research and teaching, Dr. Nayana has a proven track record in academic administration, curriculum design, and student mentorship. She has spearheaded major national initiatives, such as serving as the SPOC for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2024 and SIH 2025). At TAPMI, she leverages her multidisciplinary experience to prepare MBA & BBAH students for leadership in technology-driven and analytics-centric business environments.
