Dr. Krishna Prasad serves as the Professor of Finance and Associate Dean of Administration at T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal. He holds a PhD and an MBA in Finance, with over 16 years of academic experience, along with a brief tenure at Oracle Financial Services Software, Bengaluru. Dr. Krishna teaches a range of courses, including Financial Accounting, Financial Derivatives, and the Student Managed Investment Course for MBA students. He also oversees the TAPMI Finance Lab and serves as the faculty advisor for Samnidhy, TAPMI's Student-Managed Investment Fund (SMIF).

His research focuses on areas such as asset pricing, the relationship between corporate finance and corporate governance, and the intersection of CSR and public policy. Dr. Krishna has completed several research projects for prominent organizations including the ICSSR, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and SPARC, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. He is the visiting scholar at University of Pennsylvania, USA and international visiting faculty at Prague School of Business and Economics, Czech Republic.
