Jagriti Bhattacharyya is a PhD from the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her research interests span across entrepreneurial finance, corporate finance, microfinance as well as probing gender issues in accessing financing. Her PhD thesis titled "Financing strategies of Digital startups in India: Determinants, Value and Impact of VC financing" investigates issues pertaining to digital startups in India. She has presented her research work at prestigious conferences such as the DRUID conference held at the Nova School of Business, Lisbon, Portugal in 2023 and also in domestic conferences held at IIT Madras and IISc Bangalore. Prior to embarking on her research journey, she has worked in the financial services industry for almost a decade in roles spanning strategy consulting and management strategy with KPMG in India, Goldman Sachs and the Royal Bank of Scotland. She is also a CFA charter holder.
