Dr. Irfan Shamim is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at TAPMI, Manipal. He earned his PhD in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and holds a PGDM from TAPMI. His research focuses on consumer psychology, decision-making, and the intersection of human behavior with emerging technologies such as AI.

His academic interests are grounded in behavioral economics and communication theory, with a particular emphasis on moral decision-making, cognitive engagement, and sustainable consumption. Dr. Shamim’s professional journey reflects a blend of analytical training and human-centered inquiry, making his classroom and research contributions both rigorous and deeply relevant.
