Dr. Haritha V. H. holds a PhD in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and was a collaborative research scholar at UTS Business School, Sydney, under the Joint PhD Program. Her teaching interests includes courses in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Business Valuation. Her research focuses on startup valuation, venture capital decision-making, entrepreneurial finance, and behavioral finance. She has been associated with the Centre for Research on Start-Ups and Risk Financing (CREST) and the Data Analytics, Risk, and Technology (DART) Lab at IIT Madras.
Haritha has presented her research at several international and national conferences, including the World Finance Conference (Malta, 2025), the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) Annual Meeting (UK, 2025), the Global Finance Conference (Italy, 2024), the Management Doctoral Colloquium at IIT Kharagpur (2025), and the Doctoral Colloquium on Financial Markets and Corporate Finance at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad (2025). Her research has received recognition through the Best Research Poster Award at the DSSE Research Colloquium 2026, IIT Bombay, and the Best Paper Award at DCFMCF 2025, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
