Ganesh Chembai Balasubramanian is an Assistant Professor at the T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His research focuses on the intersection of operations and marketing, utilizing game-theoretic models to provide managerial insights on inventory, pricing, and product distribution. His doctoral dissertation examined inventory and technology adoption in decentralized supply chains. Ganesh received the Emerging Economies Doctoral Student Award for the Asia Pacific region from the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), USA, in 2022. He is a visiting researcher at the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics & Supply Chain Management, University of Luxembourg. At TAPMI, Ganesh teaches courses in statistics, research methods, and game theory. He holds an MBA from IIT Madras (2013) and has previously worked in business development roles with Fortune 500 companies such as Cognizant and Amazon.
