Aparna is an Assistant Professor in the area of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at TAPMI, Manipal. She holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Her scholarly interests lie in contemporary employment relationships, with a particular focus on non-traditional work arrangements, platform labor, and the future of work. She specializes in qualitative and process-based research methods, including grounded theory, phenomenology, and systematic literature reviews. She has a growing body of work examining the evolution of psychological contracts, employment regulation, and workplace dignity. Her research also engages with themes of gender, intersectionality, and diversity in organizational settings. At TAPMI, she teaches courses in HRM and Employment Relations, and is passionate about bridging academic rigor with real-world relevance.
