Abhishek Rohit is a researcher and educator working at the intersection of international finance, macro-finance, and applied economics. He holds a PhD from Indian Institute of Management Raipur. His research examines how policy environments and macroeconomic conditions shape firm behavior, financial markets, and broader economic outcomes. He has contributed to work on inflation expectations, monetary policy dynamics, and financial market behavior in emerging economies, using large-scale datasets and rigorous empirical methods.

He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics and quantitative methods, with a focus on building strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. His teaching integrates theoretical rigor with real-world applications, often drawing on contemporary policy and market developments.

Prior to academia, he worked as a managerial cadre officer at Punjab National Bank, where he gained extensive experience in lending to small and medium enterprises. This industry exposure informs both his research and teaching, particularly in understanding how firms operate under constraints and uncertainty.

He is currently engaged in multiple research projects across trade, finance, and economic policy, with an emphasis on generating insights that are both academically rigorous and practically relevant.
