Biography

  • Prof. Pallavi Upadhyaya obtained PhD from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in the area of Information systems, in 2012. Her current research interests are in the area of digital marketing, technology in higher education and technology adoption. She is the recognized PhD guide at MAHE and is currently guiding three PhD scholars.

    Prior to joining TAPMI, she worked as faculty at Manipal Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Management and has post graduate teaching experience of more than two decades.She was actively engaged in several academic administration in previous organisations such as Co-ordinator of Technology, Quality and Compliance Team; Member of Board of Studies of MBA, Integrated MBA programs of MAHE;Digital and IT Co-ordinator. She has co-ordinated several IT implementations such as Student Life cycle management systems, Exam-pad at institute level. She was selected for SMILE 2.0 (Synergic Manipal Integrated Leadership Engagement)by MAHE and People Business, for the year 2016. She completed a project titled “Need Assessment of Research Knowledge Management System for Manipal University”.
