With an emphasis on family firms in emerging markets, I study how ownership structures and governance mechanisms influence firm strategy, particularly internationalization, competitive behaviour, and executive decision-making. Drawing on behavioural and organizational theories, my work explores how firms respond to uncertainty and performance pressures. Using large-scale longitudinal data and quantitative methods, I develop insights into heterogeneity within family firms and its implications for global strategy and organizational outcomes
