About Atharva

Atharva is the flagship student-led fest of TAPMI and the oldest committee on campus, with a legacy of over 38 years. What began as Hill Fest in 1986 has grown into one of India’s most respected techno-cultural-management festivals, driven entirely by students.

Each edition of Atharva brings together strategy, creativity, production, partnerships, and purpose. It is not just an event, but a leadership experience where students take full charge, execute under pressure, and grow through real responsibility.

The committee is structured into three core verticals:

  • Corporate Interface – Manages sponsorships, industry partnerships, and hospitality
  • Events – Organizes and delivers all Management Events, Cultural Events (Xpressions), and the long-standing CSR initiative Run For A Cause
  • Branding – Handles Public Relations, social media, and all creative storytelling

Atharva functions throughout the year like a professional brand team. From building sponsor proposals and managing institutional partnerships, to running multi-phase promotional campaigns and solving real-time on-ground challenges, the student team handles it all.

For every member, Atharva becomes a platform to apply the core elements of an MBA such as marketing, budgeting, leadership, operations and more in a live, high-stakes environment.

Atharva also stands as a benchmark among B-school fest committees across India. Alongside Unmaad (IIM Bangalore), Chaos (IIM Ahmedabad), and OJAS (SPJIMR), Atharva represents TAPMI on the national stage. It is not only known for its scale, but also for its consistency, creativity, and social relevance.

As we prepare for the 39th edition, Atharva continues to evolve. What remains unchanged is the belief that when students take ownership, they build something far more powerful than a fest. They build legacy.

 

Key Activities:

Follow on Public Offering (FPO) Samnidhy annually launches its Follow-on Public Offering (FPO), featuring a series of events and a unique investing opportunity for the students spanning 2 to 3 weeks. During this period, prospective investors are presented with an exclusive opportunity to invest in the fund. Last year’s FPO garnered a remarkable response, raising a corpus of INR 24.45 lakhs and increasing the Assets Under Management (AUM) to INR 43.32 lakhs. The FPO successfully attracted 381 new investors, resulting in a batch conversion rate of 71%.

Investors Meet: At Samnidhy, we prioritize investor awareness and believe in keeping our valued investors well-informed about the performance of their portfolios. To achieve this, we organize exclusive Investor Meets, providing an interactive platform for investors to exercise their right to question our in-house analyst team regarding their investments. These sessions play a vital role in cultivating an active investor mindset while also fostering peer-to-peer learning among our esteemed investors. We understand the significance of transparency and open communication, and through these Investor Meets, we aim to strengthen investor relationships.

Social Media Engagements: We publish Weekly Newsletters, Company Analysis, Buzz News, Trivia nights and Fun-Fact Wednesday to keep our audiences engaged and updated. Our Weekly Newsletters provide crisp analysis and timely updates across 13 diverse industry sectors, offering valuable insights into the ever-evolving financial landscape. We involve our audience through Company Analysis, where followers vote for the companies, they want us to cover, encouraging interactive learning. To add a fun twist, our Fun-Fact Wednesday series shares quirky and lesser-known financial facts every week, making learning enjoyable. Buzz News keeps our community informed about trending events and developments shaping the financial world, while our Trivia Nights foster engagement through interactive questions that challenge and expand financial knowledge. Additionally, our original carousel series, presents our perspectives on the latest news and market trends, combining sharp visuals with meaningful commentary on the financial world around us. Through this dynamic content mix, Samnidhy aims to educate, engage, and empower its audience.
