Utkarsh Nigoti is currently an Assistant Professor in the Human Resource, Organizational Behavior, and Communication area. He pursued his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. His thesis, titled Essays on Early Retirement: Drivers, Experiences, and Decision-Making in the Workplace, has been submitted and is currently under external review. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as an Associate Consultant at Wipro Limited in the Cybersecurity and Risk Services domain. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. His research interests include retirement, career transitions, workplace flexibility, and the gig economy.
