Program Overview

The Integrated Program in Management at TAPMI Manipal is a five-year program leading to a BBA and MBA degree, approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and governed by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The program is structured to provide a seamless transition from undergraduate to postgraduate management education, with the first three years culminating in a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the final two years leading to a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The curriculum offers conceptual knowledge, practical application, and industry engagement. Students must complete 120 credits in the first three years through a mix of theoretical courses that build foundational knowledge, project-based courses that encourage application across disciplines, and industry workshops conducted by professionals to ensure real-world insights. The program also incorporates a social internship at the end of the first year and industry internships at the end of the second and fourth years, aiming to enhance experiential learning and industry readiness.

I.Conceptual / Theoretical Course (C)The objective is to provide key conceptual and theoretical insights as a foundation for the program. Initially, we will focus on a single discipline, then transition to multidisciplinary courses in the advanced years, enriching the learning experience and preparing students for real-world challenges.15
II.Project-based Course (P)Project-based courses focus on applying concepts learned in theory classes to real-world situations. Students engage in hands-on projects that require significant time and effort, promoting deeper understanding and collaboration. This practical approach enhances learning and helps students develop valuable skills for their future careers.15
III.Industry Workshops (IW)To promote strong industry engagement and gather continuous inputs, industry workshops will be introduced as a one-credit workshop course. These workshops will be conducted exclusively by industry experts under the supervision of full-time faculty members.15

Program Highlights

The program is designed to shape future-ready leaders through a multidisciplinary curriculum. Students gain a strong academic foundation in the first three years across six key areas: Management principles, analytics and data sciences, social sciences, skill-based workshops, humanities, and performing arts, as well as hands-on experience through social internships and live projects. The curriculum fosters critical thinking, creativity, communication, and real-world problem-solving. With a strong focus on experiential learning, global exposure, and industry integration, students participate in international exchange programs, live business projects, and leadership activities. The final two years follow TAPMI’s flagship MBA curriculum, with full access to its robust placement support and career services, ensuring holistic development and career readiness.
