Priyanka Laskar holds a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences and Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Agartala. Her doctoral dissertation, titled Truck Sourcing Strategies of Freight Aggregator, develops an optimal procurement strategy for freight aggregators operating under demand and price uncertainty. Prior to joining academia, she worked at Ashok Leyland Ltd. in Product Development for Defence Vehicles, where she contributed to vehicle design, customer technical responses, and assisted the vehicle testing team.
Her research focuses on platforms’ operations, including procurement and bidding strategies, collaborative efforts to reduce process inefficiencies, and market entry strategies. She engages in courses involving Operations Management, Managerial Statistics, Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
