Corporate Social responsibility: CSR Law workshop
CSR is law is an important part of MBA education. SEG conducted a workshop so that the committee members can understand the various nuances of the law which will help them while working for various organizations.
SEG decided to write the first sustainability Report of TAPMI after understanding the impact that it can make for TAPMI as an institution as well as identifying it as an essential skill to be inculcated among MBA students.
We started off by conducting a workshop by Mr. Joseph Martin C.F, Director, Clean Energy and Sustainability Services, Ernst and Young on 29th August 2016. It was a four hour workshop which was attended by students from both the senior and junior batch. The workshop opened up a new arena of strategy and sustainability roles that students from MBA background can take up. The lecture focused on the need of a sustainability report for organizations as it will help them benchmark themselves each year with the reports of the past constantly enabling them to improve. It will also help us measure the impact that we are making through our various activities.
