TAPMI joins United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

We are pleased to announce that the PRME Steering Committee and Secretariat have approved TAPMI’s application for “Participant” to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). PRME is an organised relationship between the United Nations and B-Schools around the world.

By being a signatory to PRME, TAPMI has made a commitment to advancing values such as sustainability, responsibility, and ethics in teaching, research and thought leadership.

There are over 650 leading business schools from over 80 countries dedicated to advancing these core values to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG). I am delighted that TAPMI will now play a part in advancing the core values of the UN SDG.

Launched at the 2007 UN Global Compact Leaders’ Summit in Geneva, the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative is the largest organised relationship between the United Nations and business schools, with the PRME Secretariat housed in the UN Global Compact Office. It was developed by an international task force of sixty deans, university presidents and official representatives of leading business schools and academic institutions.

The mission of PRME is to transform management education, research and thought leadership globally by providing the Principles for Responsible Management Education framework, developing learning communities and promoting awareness about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
