I would like to start by thanking our prestigious recruiters who have been the major reason for our constant growth in placement records over the years. This year we have raised the bar by achieving an increase of 9% in our average package. We have been successful in spreading our reach across sectors such as FMCG, Telecom and Manufacturing by associating with over 100 new recruiters.
Our present batch which is the youngest in the history of TAPMI with an average age of 23, has a perfect blend of talented students from a diverse spectrum of educational backgrounds, work experience and areas of interest. We have a rich mix of students from over 27 states who are trained to work with cross cultural communities and teams. Also, the previous year was marked by our students excelling in national level corporate challenges and achieving great heights by competing against leading b-schools across the country.
In 2016, with support from its esteemed corporate partners, TAPMI successfully hosted several new campus engagement initiatives such as M-Power with exclusive focus on FMCG sector, H.E.A.T to discuss growing trends in the healthcare sector and Maneeshi – to encourage entrepreneurial skills.
TAPMI’s focus has always been to align its course with industry requirements and the students are trained to become corporate ready. Bearing this in mind, we consider, attitude as the most important attribute which not just makes them efficient team players but also helps them evolve into effective leaders. This is in sync with what Peter Drucker once said “Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things.”
We take great pride in our industry partnerships and constantly strive to make this affiliation mutually beneficial and present to you the batch of 2016 – 18
Thank you once again.
