The Welfare Committee, as the name defines, strives passionately to provide an atmosphere to students that assist them in bringing out their true potential and caliber. The committee takes full responsibility for providing a healthy, hygienic and nutritious food to students at the canteen, cafeteria and night canteen. Throughout the academic year WelfareCom cherishes the multi ethnicity and diversity of India by celebrating each and every festival with utmost fervor. Also Hostel Committee which is a part of welfare committee takes care of hostel related issues of students namely the permissions, infrastructure, medical emergencies etc.

Vision

To ensure the welfare of students and make their life in TAPMI a wonderful experience and also to be a helping hand for all student activities in TAPMI.

Mission

To create a brand image for TAPMI with respect to having ideal work life balance and make the facilities available for students the best among B-schools.

Objectives

• To be a helping hand for students and various committees
• To sustain the cultural fabric of our nation and make sure that students enjoy all the festivals
• To look after the discipline and well being of students in the campus

Activities

-      The student welfare committee organizes the celebration of a number of myriad festivals from different parts of the country providing the students a welcome break from their monotonous routines. Besides the festivities, Welfarecom remains active all the time with managing the student’s mess, night canteen facility, etc.

-       Welfarecom deals with the management of the laundry facilities and the washing machines in both boys and girls hostel. Besides there is also an arrangement for regular visits by a cobbler in the campus.

-       Welfarecom stands as a very approachable committee for the students. For any kind of medical assistance any student can contact us. There is a medical/first aid kit kept with the caretakers of all the hostels for the preliminary treatment of any injury. Arrangements could be made for taking students to the hospital in case of any emergency.

-        Welfarecom also assists in various other activities during a number of other events conducted by the several other committees of TAPMI, like Finance forum (Horizon), HR Forum(Disha), etc.
