The Media and Industry Relations Committee (MIRC) aims at promoting the intellectual capital of TAPMI to the outside world.  It aims to do this by building strong ties with the media and the industry.  It also facilitates interaction between the industry, academia and students to complement and augment classroom learning, by organizing guest lectures, seminars and panel discussions with India’s corporate elite.

Some of the activities conducted by MIRC in the previous year include:

• Covering all major events that happen in TAPMI, including (but not restricted to) BrandScan, Atharva, ICAF, Leadership Lecture Series, Summer Hues, Guest Lectures, etc. This involves publishing about the events in the print media, as well as social media.
• Co-ordinating with the Placement Committee in the design of the Placement and Summer Internship brochures.
• Acting as an interface between TAPMI and other b-schools in terms of various b-school competitions and corporate events.
• Co-ordinating the design of the Admission Brochures for the aspirants.
• Guiding aspirants on the social media (PaGaLGuY, Facebook, etc.) and holding meets across different cities.
• Merchandising – Designing the official TAPMI T-shirts, hoodies, etc.
