The Marketing and General Management Forum (MGM) at TAPMI, distinguishes itself with the frequency and wide variety of marketing related events it organizes every year.  Ranging from Marketing Conclave inviting Marketing heads from across the country to organizing several Inter-college and Intra-college events it explores various options to give the college an opportunity to exhibit their marketing skills.

Mission:

  • The purpose of the forum is to act as a platform for disbursing marketing knowledge and help students manifest their skills in the marketing arena
  • Creating, sharing and exchanging ideas for future managers
  • Through their various endeavors we wish to create an avenue for students to look at marketing from different perspectives

Events Scheduled in 2011:

1. Marketing Conclave 

Conclave is a confluence of Marketing big-wigs from across the country to deliberate over the current industry trends. It is one of the mega events planned this year as a pre-cursor to TAPMI’s unique BrandScan, Asia’s largest Market-research fair. Marketing Conclave gives you a chance to interact with top leaders in different MNCs.

2.   Advitya (biggest Intra-TAPMI Quiz) 

MGM’s flag-ship event “Advitya” is the biggest Intra-TAPMI Quiz. The Winning Team of Advitya becomes the official team to represent TAPMI at various business quizzes at national level.

3.   Chakravyuh 

MGM conducts Chakravyuh, an intricate marketing game which stimulates the participants to unleash their marketing creativity and knowledge .It is held in association with Atharva. Here the creative minds of B-School of Marketing domain vie to break the Chakravyuh.

4.   Mélange

MGM conducts Mélange which is an AD making contest were students from various B-Schools participate to showcase their creativity and out-of-the box thinking to advertise a product/brand. This is an event held in association with Atharva. 

5. Ad-vantage 

An Intra-TAPMI event of AD making. Showcase you talent of AD making to the entire batch and also get a chance to fight out with other B-School entries at Melange.

6.   Episode – MGM Quiz 

As a precursor to Advitya, MGM conducts this Quiz during LitCom’s Episode every year to provide the PGP-1 batch a glimpse of the Business Quizzing in TAPMI.

7.   Adhyayan 

Adhyayan is a white paper presentation which acts as a conduit for the students’ ideas and thoughts related to marketing.   

8.   Marketing Debate 

Contemporary issues in Marketing and current trends emerging shall be debated.

9. Brandwagon 

It’s a quiz having series of rounds testing the knowledge of people in Brands exclusively.

10.  World of Marketing

This is a bi-weekly marketing E-Magazine sent by MGM within TAPMI, updating people with the latest Marketing news across the world.
