The Marketing and General Management Forum (MGM) at TAPMI, distinguishes itself with the frequency and wide variety of marketing related events it organizes every year. Several Inter-college and Intra-college events are held to give the college an opportunity to exhibit their marketing skills.

Mission:

  • The purpose of the forum is to act as a platform for disbursing marketing knowledge and help students manifest their skills in the marketing arena
  • Creating, sharing and exchanging ideas for future managers
  • Through their various endeavours we wish to create an avenue for students to look at marketing from different perspectives

Events for 2012:

MarkWar

MarkWar  is a 3 day Inter section ‘Marketing ‘War’ which provides opportunities for students to exhibit their marketing skills and explore the hidden marketer within them through games in marketing  and strategy! MarkWar brings out the potential marketer  in students.

M-pulse

National level marketing case study competition organized by MGM to give industry fresh perspective on live problems faced by them and gives students a platform to showcase their talent to industry.

M-Ex

MGM conducts ‘M-Ex ‘ where Senies share their MIP(summer internship)  Marketing experiences  with junies to guide them and take informed decisions about their summer internships organization and profiles.

Pandora Box

MGM conducts this Quiz during Episode every year to provide the PGP-1 batch a glimpse of the Business Quizzing in TAPMI.

World of Marketing

This is a weekly marketing E-Magazine sent by MGM within TAPMI, updating people with the latest Marketing news across the world.

Basics of Marketing

BOM is a Bi- monthly magazine focused on the understanding of marketing concepts through practical cases. Marketing concepts are explained in simpler language and then a case is discussed which focuses on the applicability of the marketing concept in practical business conditions.

Chakravyuh 

MGM conducts Chakravyuh, an intricate marketing game which stimulates the participants to unleash their marketing creativity and knowledge .It is held in association with Atharva. Here the creative minds of B-School of Marketing domain vie to break the Chakravyuh.

Young Business leader(YBL) Simulation game

A specially designed stimulation game for the best minds from premier B-school to show their Entrepreneurship Skills, Market research ,Understanding and decision making power. This Stimulation game has been designed by the MGM team to test the marketing concepts understanding of the contenders of the Prestigious Competition Young Business Leader in Atharva.

Advitya

‘Advitya’ is the biggest Intra-TAPMI Quiz. The Winning Team of Advitya becomes the official team to represent TAPMI at various business quizzes at national level.

Guest lecturers & Workshops

We at MGM believe that marketing is beyond jargons and good grades. We conduct guest lecturers to keep students abreast with the current industry scenario and interactive workshops that unleash creativity and encourage out of the box thinking.
