TAPMI received GOLD AWARD for the presentation on Assurance of Learning (AoL) made at the 4th Indian Management Conclave organised by MBAUniverse during August 02-03, 2013 at New Delhi. The prizes were given away by Honorable Minister of State for HRD, Dr. Shashi Tharoor. The Presentation was on the Theme 3- Improving Core Product: Innovations in Curriculum Delivery.
TAPMI, Manipal received the ASSOCHAM NATIONAL EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARD 2013 held at Hotel Imperial, Janpath, New Delhi on April 09, 2013, for the Best Business School in the South Region. The Award was handed over by the Honorable Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India, Dr. M Mangapati Pallam Raju.

TAPMI was honoured with Quality Management Education & Accreditation Award from AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools) Hyderabad on 27 August.
TAPMI received South Asian Academy Education Awards for (1) Best Management School (2) Award for Academic Excellence and (3) Best Infrastructure Award for 2012 at a brief function held at Hotel The Bell & Convention Centre, near Majestic Bus Stand, Bangalore.. In all, 56 applications were received in different categories (like Engineering, Management, etc) from all over India, 25 were shortlisted and 10 Institutes / Colleges were awarded.

TAPMI earned accreditation of its postgraduate program by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (www.aacsb.edu). TAPMI joins an elite group of institutions that have achieved business accreditation from AACSB International. TAPMI is the first AICTE approved B-School in India to achieve this distinguished hallmark of excellence in management education. TAPMI received the AIMS-WE School Innovation Award
TAPMI received AIMS-WE School Innovation Award at 23rd AIMS Annual Management Education Convention 2011, organised by Association of Indian Management Schools, at Bhubaneswar on 26 – 27th August 2011.
The award was based on the presentation made by Prof. R C Natarajan on the innovation in engaging PGP students of TAPMI through various experiential learning techniques during marketing management courses including the experience of OMEGA, BrandScan and other simulation games. There were 13 entries for the award and TAPMI was adjudged as the B-School for Best Innovation in Management Education.
Dr. A S Vasudev Rao, Director, TAPMI received the Certificate & the Gold Medal. Prof. Chowdari Prasad, Dean (Planning & Development), had also represented.
TAPMI has been conferred with Dr. J. J. Irani award for the Best Management Institute by Dr. P. N. Singh Foundation, Mumbai. The award was presented at the 13th Annual Convention on Leadership at IES Institute, Mumbai on 18th November 2011 in the presence of 800 delegates. It was received by Prof. Chowdari Prasad on behalf of TAPMI.
AICTE approval received for increasing the intake
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has recently given TAPMI green signal for increasing the intake of students from 180 to 300. At a time when many institutions find it difficult to manage the existing strength of students, the news of approval for additional 120 seats to TAPMI has brought to the fore the capabilities of TAPMI in managing and nurturing wealth creators.
CRISIL grading TAPMI with “A ***” at national and state level
CRISIL Business School Grading has rated TAPMI with an “A Triple Star” grading in their national as well as state level Grading of Management Educational Institutions in the country on par with SP Jain, NMIMS, XIMB, IIFT and MDI. This is valid up to March 23, 2012.
CRISIL's ratings process is designed to ensure that all ratings are based on the highest standards of independence and analytical rigour. CRISIL employs a multi-layered, decision-making process in assigning a rating.
The CRISIL Grading aims to help B-schools achieve higher degrees of academic excellence, establish the right profile of institutes and showcase an institute's quality to students, faculty and employers across India. This Grading system is India's first independent and rigorous grading service for the education sector. Through this service, CRISIL aims to recognise and nurture quality management education, while helping employers and aspiring management graduates find business schools that best match their needs. The rating process normally takes three to four weeks starting with a rating request from the issuer, and the signing of a rating agreement.

Recently, TAPMI was declared as “Top Management Institute” by one of the leading magazines of India – Competition Success Review. In a survey carried out by the Business and Economy magazine in collaboration with ICMR, New Delhi, that saw the participation of thirty leading Indian Business Schools including the IIMs, the ISB, JBIMS, SP Jain, XLRI, IIFT, MDI, IMI, GLIM and NITIE, TAPMI was ranked No. 17. The results were published in the December 10th 2009 issue of the Business & Economy as the Dec 7th issue of the Sunday Indian. The jury consisted of eminent professionals like Mr Naresh Gupta (MD of Adobe India), Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahni (Head-Strategic HR, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.), Mr Girish G. Dewang Mehta Business School Award for TAPMI
In the 17th Business School Affaire and Dewang Mehta Award ceremony, held at Mumbai on Nov. 5, 2009, TAPMI was adjudged as one of the best 5 business schools in the country (including IIMs) with the best Marketing curriculum. Dr. Simon George, Dean Academics of TAPMI, received the award on behalf of the institute.
TAPMI ranked in the category A2 by Indian Management
Indian Management, the journal of AIMA, New Delhi, ranked TAPMI in the category of A2 in its October 2009 special issue on its Survey of Best B-Schools with an overall score of 85/100. IMRB is the research associate for this survey. The same results will also appear in Business Standard.
The survey covered 285 B-Schools across the country. The various categories under which these B-Schools were ranked are – Super League (10 Schools with a score of 95/100), A1 (9 Schools with scores of 95 and 90), A2 (28 Schools with scores of 80, 85 and 90), A3 (63 Schools with scores between 60 and 80), A4 (93 Schools with scores between 25 and 60), B1 (49 Schools with scores between 10 and 25) and B2 (31 Schools with scores between 0 and 10).
This is the first time TAPMI participated in AIMA Best B-Schools survey. The survey is carried out considering various data and facts about the institute.
TAPMI selected to receive AIMS Award
TAPMI has been selected by the Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS) International to receive the AIMS International Appreciation Award for the year 2009. The award will be presented to TAPMI on 21stDec 2009 at the AIMS International Conference at IIM Bangalore.

Centre for Change Management, Mumbai along with Deccan Herald-Avenues hosted a strategic program for HR Development on January 17, 2004 at Hotel Leela Palace, Bangalore. They instituted a rolling trophy in the name of Dr R L Bhatia's mother at the Deccan Herald-Avenues HR function, which was targeted at the HR professionals. About four hundred professionals from corporate India were present at the function and the Trophy was presented in the presence of these professionals.TAPMI was awarded the rolling trophy for the Best Student in Management.
