AACSB is the apex certification agency for B-Schools in the US. It is given to a business school accrediting its excellence in achieving its academic mission. It essentially focuses on whether the school runs on a clearly laid out mission-driven process that is strategically consistent and sustainable.

TAPMI sought accreditation of AACSB in 2003-04. Subsequent to modifications and corrections in the initial report, AACSB appointed a mentor, who guided the Institute through putting in place processes and procedures relevant in this regard.

The Peer Review Team (PRT) appointed by the AACSB inspected TAPMI’s processes during February 2011. The final verdict of the AACSB’s Accreditation Committee (AAC) is awaited.
