Dewang Mehta Business School Award for TAPMI
Nov 2009: In the 17th Business School Affaire and Dewang Mehta Award ceremony, held at Mumbai on Nov. 5, 2009, TAPMI was adjudged as one of the best 5 business schools in the country (including IIMs) with the best Marketing curriculum. Dr. Simon George, Dean Academics of TAPMI, received the award on behalf of the institute.
TAPMI ranked in the category A2 by Indian Management
Indian Management, the journal of AIMA, New Delhi, ranked TAPMI in the category of A2 in its October 2009 special issue on its Survey of Best B-Schools with an overall score of 85/100. IMRB is the research associate for this survey. The same results will also appear in Business Standard.
The survey covered 285 B-Schools across the country. The various categories under which these B-Schools were ranked are – Super League (10 Schools with a score of 95/100), A1 (9 Schools with scores of 95 and 90), A2 (28 Schools with scores of 80, 85 and 90), A3 (63 Schools with scores between 60 and 80), A4 (93 Schools with scores between 25 and 60), B1 (49 Schools with scores between 10 and 25) and B2 (31 Schools with scores between 0 and 10).
This is the first time TAPMI participated in AIMA Best B-Schools survey. The survey is carried out considering various data and facts about the institute.
TAPMI selected to
receive AIMS Award
TAPMI has been selected by the Association of Indian
Management Scholars (AIMS) International to receive the AIMS
International Appreciation Award for the year 2009. The
award will be presented to TAPMI on 21st Dec 2009
at the AIMS International Conference at IIM Bangalore.
Sep 2009: TAPMI has been
ranked at No.8 among the Top 50 Best Private B-Schools in
India in the Survey for the year 2009 conducted by OPEN
magazine and the Centre for Forecasting and Research
(C-fore). This was announced in the issue of OPEN dated
September 18th, 2009. Among the Top B-Schools in South,
TAPMI is ranked at no.4, the first being IIM-Bangalore.
