The T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) nurtures a vision to be a global business school; developing global wealth creators is a theme central to TAPMI’s mission.  We at TAPMI constantly sense the changing realities of the global business environment and understand how global resources are imperative to meet the challenges of emerging business models.  We believe that today’s business students must be sufficiently exposed to global markets as economic interdependence has gained eminence over geographic boundaries.  Keeping this in mind, we groom our students to become managers with an international outlook.  At TAPMI, we have designed and developed student and faculty exchange programs to promote a greater understanding of international issues that increases the competencies of faculty and students who will live and work in an increasingly interdependent world.

A brief status of TAPMI’s initiatives on global business school linkages is given below:

  • A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed with Sheffield Hallam University, UK for student and faculty exchanges. The first student exchange under this MoU is scheduled during September-December, 2009, under which five TAPMI PGDM students will visit and study at the Sheffield Hallam University.

This program is a unique blend of class room sessions and industry visits for 2 days (August 13-14, 2009).
