Biography

  • Prof. Vidya Pratap implemented “A Clean Manipal” Project
  • Put in place a waste management system in 2 wards of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal by installing pictorial boards and separate bins for organic and inorganic wastes in August 2006.
  • Conducted a workshop in 2006 to create awareness among housekeeping staff of all the hostels of Kasturba Medical College by giving talks on handling and disposal of wastes.
  • Implemented a waste management system in several hostels of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal by installing separate bins for organic and inorganic wastes in August 2006.
  • Conducted a workshop in 2005 to create awareness among students of T.A. Pai Management Institute and several colleges of Manipal University and also the ladies of Mahila Samaj, Manipal by giving talks on handling and disposal of wastes.
