Mr Rajan Bedi, Director and Head Presales HCL technologies illustrated a case study on ‘MNC Companies and the Outsourcing Journey along with the Service Providers’.

TAPMI gave the students an excellent opportunity to learn by inviting Mr. Rajan Bedi for an expert interaction with them. Mr. Bedi is the Director and Head Presales at HCL Technologies Engineering Service Hi Tech and Communications. With a rich experience of around 25 years, he has worked across sectors.
The students got a chance to interact with him and learn things which the text books can’t teach. The uniqueness of the lecture was in the way Mr. Bedi engaged the students. He illustrated a case study on “MNC Companies and the Outsourcing Journey along with the Service Providers”, using the technique of role play. He assigned the students leadership roles from the case and asked them to make decisions. Once they did that, he discussed the implications of the decisions that they made and explained where they went wrong (if they did). He could effectively communicate his message to the students and he brought out their creative ideas. The session was interactive and certainly helpful for the students from not just marketing but also for students from Operations, Finance and Human Resource departments.

The students asked their questions towards the end of the session and Mr. Bedi ensured that none of the queries went unanswered. The experience was enriching and shall help the students in their careers.
