UMESH KAMATH: ALUMNUS OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER 2010

ANAND KHURANA: ALUMNUS OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST 2010

Read a report on the Alumni Summer Meets 2010

Dear Alumnus,

I have great pleasure in inviting you to a meeting on August 7 at 6:30 pm at Hotel Aditya Park, Ameerpet, Hyderabad (phone 66788888).  In the recent Summer Hues – Alumni meet held in the month of May, faculty members from TAPMI-Manipal could not attend due to other pre-occupations, admissions work or vacation.   The new Alumni Committee discussed at its meeting last month and decided that Faculty Members while travelling to different destinations could attempt to meet as many Alumni as possible hereafter.

You may be aware that TAPMI has been accorded approval by AICTE to admit 180 students (including 9 NRIs) in the PGP from 2010 onwards, which we implemented immediately.  We are right now geared up in putting our full efforts to obtain AACSB accreditation, which process is at a crucial phase close to completion. Also a new one-year residential program called e-Governance Program for Executives (eGPX), supported by DIT-GOI, New Delhi and NISG-Hyderabad is into its second batch.  This is a very special program launched in 2009.  For more details, you may please visit our website www.tapmi.edu.in.  Prof. Chowdari Prasad, Mr. Venkateswara Rao (IT Dept), and the undersigned would be visiting Hyderabad to participate in e-INDIA 2010 event (conference & exhibition) at the Int’l convention centre on August 4-5-6, 2010.

I understand there are 100 plus alumni in Hyderabad.  We would like to meet each one of you and discuss the several initiatives your Alma Mater has recently been launching. Your inputs and suggestions as well as active participation can make a big difference to TAPMI’s future.

My warm greetings and once again I welcome you to the meeting on August 7.

Mohankumar
